Innovation

Sustainability does not require sacrifice

It’s not about doing without. Instead, it’s about doing things in a completely different way. Fewer “bad” materials and products will not save us. To shape and create a better future, we don’t require less of the bad but more of the good. Radical thinking and new methods are what we need — we need innovation rebels!

Artificial Intelligence

AI shouldn’t harm humanity

In the age of artificial intelligence, ethics need to be the priority and it’s the design discipline that bears this responsibility. As an interface between man and machine, it has a much greater role to play than most companies generally assume. Designers have increasingly been shaping processes as well.

Circular Design

More sustainability through digitization

The circular economy and circular design principles are of vital importance during the transformative process of becoming a more sustainable business. “To build a more beautiful future we have to recode innovation”

10 years after the launch of my innovation company, I am ever more aware of my legacy. What we leave behind for the next generation should be more than just new products or services. More and better is no longer good enough, when the world is on fire.

Innovation for its own sake is a dead-end-street!

We are at an ecological, economic and social tipping point. And we are the last generation, that can save our planet. My answer to this fact is: Humane innovation

Sometimes it feels like there is an apocalyptic atmosphere. But even in the midst of an economic downturn and the existing climate crisis, burying our heads in the sand is not a solution.
Having the feeling this could be the end, there is only one thing left: We have to think of a new beginning from this very end.

Innovation against the powerlessness

Automation and artificial intelligence are changing the corporate reality but people should al-ways remember that they have agency. How can companies actively shape the digital trans-formation in the interest of their employees?

THE INNOVATION REBEL

Going “higher, faster, and further“ is not the solution. We need more freethinkers who boldly break existing rules—new innovators who will address/resolve the conflict between growth and sustainability.

Circular Economy & Behavioural Change

The world is on fire. Whilst a worldwide pandemic is turning our life upside down, we realize more than ever before: it is time for change.

If our daily work is in question, what does that mean with regard to innovation?
